Our Roots
When our mom’s family arrived in the states, they chased whatever crop was in season for work. With the help of Hope CommUnity Center and the Farmworker Association, they found stable work and a place to stay.
Soon, Patricia would meet Bill Dewar in the field. They fell in love, got married in a greenhouse surrounded by crimson red poinsettias, and continued to develop what is now the largest container rose grower in the USA: Dewar Nurseries.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, our main wholesale company is known for its quality, integrity, and customer service. Now, as the daughters of Dewar, we are taking the company to new heights with our first DTC brand, The Sun Grove. A long time in the making, we are so looking forward to offering our top-quality plants, now directly to your door!
