Details

Sweet flowers that shine with energy. Gerbera daisy has a large central disk surrounded by petals that are often deeply lobed. They are a fan favorite for gardens and cut flowers because of the long blooming season and vibrant color. Get even more blooms for your buck when you grow them at home! Gerbera daisies are tender perennials and will grow year-round in USDA zones 8-11, but you can enjoy them in the spring and summer in any climate. Also known for their air-purifying properties, these daisies are a healthy (and pretty!) addition to your decor.

Note: arrives in a grower’s pot. Just like nature, color is unpredictable! Hue selection is not an option, and only based on availability.

When watering, keep the soil evenly moist throughout the summer blooming season, and avoid letting the water settle on the leaves or crown (it encourages rot!) Let the water drain freely through the pot.
Gerbera daisies love the morning sun and light afternoon shade.
They thrive indoors in a cool (mid-60°F) location, and outdoors in zones 8-11.
Use well-drained soil, as they are prone to root rot. Up to a quarter of the soil can be coir to help with drainage.
Gerbera daisies can grow 4-6 in. tall and 6-8 in. wide. Deadhead often to encourage more flowers, and remove dead or damaged leaves.
